Described by RTÉ Lyric FM as an 'exceptional talentand HOTPRESS as 'passionate and alluring', Clare Sands is a young multi-instrumentalist, composer, and songwriter hailing from the vibrant musical city of Cork. She has a unique ability to blend jazz, blues, and Irish music- a fantastic feisty fusion- while her alluring voices ebbs and flows throughout her eclectic music. Following the release of her debut album 'Join Me At The Table' in late 2016, 'Really beautiful sounds'- RTÉ Radio 1.
Sands has been touring Ireland & Europe, playing sell out shows and captivating audiences at renowned festivals such as Electric Picnic. Sands has recently become the Irish representative for legendary company Roland/Boss, due to her diverse musical interests and performances around the world both as a solo artist and session musician playing in venues like The National Concert Hall (Jack L) and the INEC (Luka Bloom.)


In anticipation for her highly awaited new record, Sands has just started recording a series of live music videos and tracks called 'The Basement Sessions' which are being received with critical acclaim with thousands of streams as well as plays on RTE/ BBC.
This summer 2018, Sands & Band will be performing at festivals throughout Ireland,  and appearing at the highly acclaimed Fleadh  'FEIS'  (U.K) alongside Irish legends such as Van Morisson and Imelda May.
