Upcoming Live Shows

Orchid Collective consisting of David O Shea (lead vocals, guitar), Shea Tohill (lead guitar, vocals), Hugh O’Neill (bass, vocals) and Darra Doyle (drums, vocals) have been gigging relentlessly across Ireland, developing their unique sound and quickly making a name for themselves as an unforgettable live act.

Orchid Collective are responsible for creating rousing folk-influenced rock that would resonate with those who are fans of Alt -J, Fleet Foxes and Bon Iver with a touch of Explosions in the Sky. Through their own distinct use of vocal harmonies and searing layers of reverbed guitars; Orchid Collective make themselves known as a band that set themselves apart from their contemporaries, offering a bold new imagining of the indie genre.

I love this. It’s the sound of band that fully understand themselves and their music - glorious dreamy guitars, and vocals that gently grasp your attention and keep it.
— Dan Hegarty (RTE 2FM)
If you too have been missing the yearning atmospheric guitar fuelled lyricism of Tyneside’s ‘Grand Father Birds’ since their premature demise, may I commend you to Ireland’s splendid Orchid Collective
— - Tom Robinson (BBC 6 Music)
One of the best sets I saw at Hard Working Class Heroes earlier this month was from the Dublin-based four-piece Orchid Collective.
— Nialler9
It’s powerful stuff. So powerful that you’d be surprised if this young band weren’t very big indeed in the not-too-distant future — not least because their sound in moments has echoes of Coldplay channelling Crosby Stills & Nash with bells and possibly whistles on.
— - Barry Egan (Irish Independent)
The Irish band spread the gospel gig by gig, show by show, a never-ending catalogue of live dates that twists at home and abroad
— Clash Magazine
Really good song. A bit different from what i’ve previously heard from this band but in a really good way!
— Tony Clayton – Lea (Irish Times)
